MICHIGAN RECREATION PASSPORT
Michigan’s state parks and forests are great places to get in touch with nature. Pay $11 more when you renew your license plate and get the Michigan Recreation Passport. It gives you entry to our state parks and forests where you can take advantage of campgrounds, boat launches, lakes and much more. The pass is good all year long! The Passport does not include entry into local, county, municipal, or metropolitan parks or recreation areas.
Passport purchase locations: Secretary of State offices or online tab renewals and State Park Customer Service Centers
Fee: Michigan Residents registered vehicles ($11) / Registered motorcycles ($5)

Join us for a day celebrating the centennial anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote! Beginning at 11 a.m., Bailey Sisoy-Moore of The Detroit History Club and Detroit History Tours will be giving an informational lecture about women's suffrage in Detroit. This lecture will take place at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, 461 Piquette Ave. Following the lecture, we will have tea at the historic Whitney restaurant. Valet parking at The Whitney will be offered free of charge. During the tea, you will have the option to purchase raffle tickets to win a prize basket filled with local Detroit goodies. Ticket prices are $60 for Ford Piquette Plant members, $65 for non-members.
