In celebration of Hungry Howie’s 10th Annual Love, Hope & Pizza campaign to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the brand is partnering with Henry Ford to provide uninsured Detroit women with complimentary mammograms.
Hungry Howie’s, the originator of Flavored Crust® pizza, is celebrating its tenth year of the “Love, Hope & Pizza” campaign, which is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.® (NBCF). Since the campaign launched in 2009, Hungry Howie’s has raised more than $2.5 million to support survivors and those currently battling breast cancer by donating a portion of sales from its iconic Flavored Crust® pizzas and specialty branded Love, Hope & Pizza merchandise to NBCF. In honor of their tenth year, Hungry Howie’s is offering their fans a medium 1-topping pizza for $1 with the purchase of a large 1-topping pizza at regular menu price. Customers who prefer to order via Hungry Howie’s mobile app or online can opt to add an additional donation to National Breast Cancer Foundation during checkout.
This year Hungry Howie’s takes “going pink” even further and providing free mammograms. A mammogram is important for early detection and can significantly improve the chances of survival.
There will be complimentary lunch and refreshments provided by Hungry Howie’s and a tour of Henry Ford’s brand-new state-of-the-art mobile mammography unit. Attendees can be pre-screened and pre-registered by the team at Henry Ford for their complimentary mammogram in November.
For those unable to attend but would be interested in being pre-screened for the complimentary mammogram, please reach out to Henry Ford directly at 877-6-SCREEN.
